These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the ICT Services Department operating as LeapAI Africa.

2. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the LeapAI Africa website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

3. Description of Service

LeapAI Africa provides AI training programs designed for C-level executives and managers in Africa. Our services include:

  • Multi-week online AI training programs
  • Live training sessions and workshops
  • In-person bootcamp events
  • Educational materials and resources
  • Access to course directors and support staff

4. Enrollment and Payment

4.1 Enrollment

Enrollment in our programs is subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or cancel registrations at our discretion.

4.2 Payment Terms

Program fees and payment terms are specified on our Program Schedule page. Payment is required upon enrollment. All fees are non-refundable except as specified in our refund policy.

4.3 Refund Policy

Full refunds are available if requested within 7 days of enrollment and before the program start date. No refunds will be provided after the program has commenced. For special circumstances, please contact us at info@leapai.africa to discuss available options.

5. User Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during enrollment
  • Attend scheduled sessions and actively participate in the program
  • Respect other participants and maintain professional conduct
  • Not share, reproduce, or distribute course materials without written authorization
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

All course materials, content, and resources provided by LeapAI Africa are owned by the ICT Services Department and the course directors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 License to Participants

Upon enrollment, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access and view course materials for personal learning purposes
  • Apply the knowledge and skills learned in your professional work
  • Use concepts and strategies taught in the program within your organization

6.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute course materials without written permission
  • Create derivative works based on our course content
  • Use course materials to teach or train others without authorization
  • Share login credentials or provide access to unauthorized individuals

6.4 Content Reproduction

If you wish to reproduce or use course content for training, presentations, or other purposes, you must obtain written approval from the ICT Services Department. Contact legal@leapai.africa to request permission.

7. Program Schedule and Changes

Current program schedules, dates, and formats are available on our Program Schedule page. We reserve the right to modify the schedule, format, or content of the program with reasonable notice to participants.

In the event of significant changes that materially affect program delivery, enrolled participants will be notified and may be eligible for transfer to a future cohort or refund at our discretion.

8. Accessibility Accommodations

We are committed to making our programs accessible to all participants. If you require accommodations due to a disability or other special circumstances, please contact us at info@leapai.africa or through our contact form to discuss available adaptations.

We will work with you to provide reasonable accommodations to ensure you can fully participate in and benefit from the program.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the ICT Services Department's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the program. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our programs or use of our services.

We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of course content or that participation will result in specific business outcomes.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

11. Termination

We may terminate your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also terminate your participation by providing written notice, subject to our refund policy.

Upon termination, your access to course materials will be revoked, and you must cease all use of proprietary content.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in our programs shall be resolved as follows:

12.1 Informal Resolution

We encourage participants to first contact us at legal@leapai.africa to attempt informal resolution of any disputes.

12.2 Formal Proceedings

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

13. Force Majeure

The ICT Services Department shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, internet or telecommunications failures, or government actions.

In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to deliver the program through alternative means or reschedule to a later date.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the “Last updated” date.

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of our services.
